Tess Officially Joins The Fam

We went out past Bellville to a small ranch where we picked out the new addition to our family - a yellow lab puppy named Tess. We got first pick of the females, which may or may not have been a good thing! They were all so cute (6 females total) and it was very hard to choose just one. So of course, the hubby made the final call. I think he knew all along though because Tess was the first puppy to run up to Troy and play with him, while the others slept...until feeding time that is. Then it was a puppy frenzy! So cute though. I don't know how anyone can have just one. Maybe that is why the breeder has seven of their own!

We played with all the pups for about an hour, toured the facilities, played some more, and then finally put 'dibs' on our little canine. She was all kisses, and we love her already. I have posted some pics from the day, but check back for more soon! She will be a Halloween puppy, coming home next Saturday!

Almost a Year Later, But Here They Are!

Post It

So, I have my 'business' blog, but since so many of our friends and families are blogging, we thought we would do the same -- to keep in touch, show what is going on in our crazy lives, and post things for and about our family and friends since we don't get to see many of them too often.

So, this is post #1. For future entries, I plan to post photos of the wedding (since many of you were not able to access the link to our slideshow during the very short amount of time it was up) and other fun happenings along the line so check back often :) And something to look forward to in the next few weeks - getting our new puppy Tess! Can't wait.
